Privacy Policy
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information Best IPTV South Africa collects when you visit bestiptvsouthafrica.shop, ask for a free test or buy a subscription, and how we look after it. We process personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
Who is responsible
Best IPTV South Africa is the responsible party for the personal information described here. For any privacy question or request, e-mail [email protected].
What we collect
- Details you give us: your name, e-mail address, WhatsApp or phone number, the device you watch on and anything you write to us.
- Order details: the plan you chose, its duration, the number of connections, the amount and the payment status. Card details are captured by the payment provider, not stored by us.
- Technical details that every visit creates: IP address, browser type and the date and time of your visit.
Why we use it
We only use your information for what it is needed for: handling your test request or order, sending your login details, confirming your e-mail address with a one-time code, preventing abuse (such as repeated free tests), answering support questions and keeping the website secure.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We only share it with service providers we need to run the service, such as hosting, e-mail delivery, WhatsApp messaging and payment processing. Some of these providers may store information outside South Africa; where that happens we make sure the information stays adequately protected, as POPIA requires for cross-border transfers.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only for as long as the purposes above require, or for as long as the law obliges us to. After that it is deleted or de-identified.
Cookies
The website uses cookies that are technically necessary, for example to keep the checkout working. You can delete or block cookies in your browser at any time, but some features may then stop working.
Security
Traffic between your browser and our website is encrypted (HTTPS). We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against loss and unauthorised access.
Your rights
Under POPIA you may ask whether we hold personal information about you and request access to it, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to its processing. Send your request to [email protected]. If you are not happy with how we handled your request, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our processes or the legal requirements change. The version published on this page is the one that applies.
